The table feed is operated via a recirculating ball screw, offering precise control even at slow feed speeds. A frequency inverter attached to the motoreducer allows for a wide range of feed speeds, adjustable using a potentiometer. Another inverter controls the spindle speed, ensuring the ideal cutting speed is maintained for various cutting systems. These systems include abrasive sectors for grinding cast iron or aluminium cylinder heads with pre-chambers, tools for aluminium resurfacing, or a CBN-PCD toolholder plate for high-speed resurfacing.
A conveniently positioned digital display shows the rotation speed. For ease of use and safety, all control commands are situated on a rotating control panel that can be adjusted to suit the operator. The machine’s standard equipment includes rapid head movement, an efficient cooling system with a settling tank, and a wheel dressing assembly with a diamond dresser.
Additionally, useful accessories are available upon request, such as an adjustable set-up fixture for cylinder heads, a V-block mounting kit, and a rotating backing pad for grinding flywheels, clutch friction plates, or brake discs.
