Comec Head & Block Resurfacer

Description

The Comec RP1000 head and block resurfacer is the ideal resurfacing machine for cylinder heads and blocks of cars and trucks, as well as for all flat surfaces requiring a finished and accurate machined surface. Machine parts such as the base, table, column and head are manufactured using high quality wide ribbed cast irony to ensure increased rigidity during machining. Table feed is via a recirculating-ball screw that is extremely precise even at slow feed speeds. A frequency inverter controlling the screw is attached to the moto reducer to provide different feed rates which can be adjusted via a potentiometer. A second inverter enables the operator to achieve the ideal spindle speed in order to obtain the very vest finish using either abrasive sectors for grinding or CBN-PCD tooling for high-speed resurfacing. An ergonomically positioned control panel can be adjusted to suit the operator featuring a digital display highlighting the spindle speed. There are a wide range of optional accessories such as the adjustable set-up fixture for cylinder heads, V-block mounting kit, rotating backing pad for grinding flywheels, clutch friction plates or brake discs.
